BOSANSKİ LONAC: Bosanski lonac, the national dish of Sarajevo, is a delicious stew of vegetables and meat cooked for hours. BEGOVA SOUP: It is a local delicacy of Sarajevo. It is prepared by slowly cooking vegetables such as chicken, potatoes and celery. Begova is a very thick soup. This soup, consumed by adding sour cream and sauce, is prepared by the locals on holidays and special occasions.

SMOKVARA: A delicious Bosnian dessert. This dough, which is dark brown and has the consistency of fig molasses, is given a flat shape. Then the dough is cooked with syrup prepared with molasses, sugar and water. Smokvara, which takes its name from figs, is consumed with Bosnian coffee because it is quite sweet.
