Saint Nicholas Russian Church

This is a Russian Orthodox church located in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. It was built in 1914.

Banya Bashi Mosque

Located in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, it was built in 1566. Today, it is the only active mosque in the city and one of the oldest mosques in Europe. It was designed by Mimar Sinan. Evliya Çelebi is said to have described it as "the mosque with the most beautiful minaret in Sofia." Its most striking feature is its large dome and tall minaret.

Alexander Nevsky Cathedral

This is a Bulgarian Orthodox cathedral located in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. Built in Neo-Byzantine style, the cathedral hosts the Patriarch of All Bulgaria and is one of the largest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals in the world. The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral covers an area of 3170 square meters and can accommodate approximately 10,000 people at the same time. It is the second-largest cathedral in the Balkans after the Saint Sava Cathedral in Belgrade.

Boyana Church

Entered the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979. The church, consisting of three different structures built in different periods, is most notable for its frescoes on the interior walls. The 80 scenes depicted on the walls include 240 human figures. These frescoes are considered the origin of religious wall paintings that began to be commonly used in monasteries in Serbia, Russia, and Mount Athos during the 14th and 16th centuries.

Cuma Mosque, Plovdiv

Located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, it is also known as Hüdavendigâr Mosque. It was built during the reign of Sultan Murad I (1369-1389). The mosque was constructed in the city center between 1363-1364 to symbolize the Ottoman Empire and is known in literature as "Hüdavendigâr Mosque."

Church of Saint Sofia

A historical religious building in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. The city's name derives from this church. Initially established as a church and later converted into a mosque, it is one of the oldest buildings in the city.

Ruse Danube Bridge

A steel truss bridge over the Danube River, connecting the southern city of Ruse in Bulgaria to the northern city of Giurgiu in Romania. Along with the New Europe Bridge between Vidin and Calafat, it is one of the two bridges connecting Bulgaria and Romania.
