Sponza Palace

It is a 16th-century palace in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Its name derives from the Latin word "spongia", meaning the place where rainwater collects. The rectangular building with an inner courtyard was built between 1516 and 1522 by Paskoje Miličević Mihov in a mixed Gothic and Renaissance style.

Saint Ignatius Church Dubrovnik

Saint Ignatius Dubrovnik is a historical church located in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The church, which was opened in 1729, is considered one of the best Baroque building groups in all of Dalmatia. It is a Roman Catholic Church located in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The church, which dates back to the 7th century, was expanded in the 12th century with the donations of King Richard I of England. The cathedral, which contains 138 types of gold and silver relics, is also the center of the Diocese of Dubrovnik.
