TRAVEL TIPS AND ADVICE

Planning and Preparation Stage

Climate and Weather: “The weather of your destination shapes the spirit of your journey; enjoy every moment by being well-prepared.” For example, if you are going to a country with a desert climate, temperatures can be extremely hot or cold. Therefore, under your doctor’s supervision, consider taking immune-boosting supplements and strive to maintain a stable body temperature.

Places to Visit: “Places to visit open the doors to discovering the world’s enchantment.” Conducting prior research will facilitate creating an itinerary, making time management easier and ensuring a more efficient trip.

Local Cuisine: “Exploring a country’s spirit and culture is best done through its flavors.” However, different spices and cooking methods might challenge your stomach, so try new flavors in moderation. Carrying probiotics for digestive support can be beneficial.

Cultural Norms: “Cultural norms are invisible rules that reflect a society’s identity and values.” Therefore, researching the cultural norms of your destination will make your trip more colorful and help you understand it better.

International Travel Health Insurance: You should not neglect getting insurance for potential health issues. If you have purchased a tour, having this insurance is mandatory. Some tour companies include this insurance in the tour cost, while others do not. If it is not included, it is your responsibility to arrange it. Here’s how the process works when using your insurance: Keep all bills, receipts, and medical reports when receiving medical services, as these documents will be necessary when making an insurance claim. After treatment, you will need to contact your insurance company to fill out a claim form. When filling out this form, include all documents and bills related to the medical services received. After submitting your claim, monitor how your insurance company processes it. Once the insurance company reviews the documents, they will reimburse the approved amount to you.

Documents: Carry copies of your passport, visa, flight ticket, and reservation documents, ensuring they are accessible digitally as well. If you are joining a tour, passports and identity cards are your responsibility. If the tour does not include a visa, obtaining one is also your responsibility.

Packing: Do not forget comfortable shoes, functional clothing suitable for various weather conditions, and basic hygiene products. Additionally, wearing comfortable clothes makes long journeys more bearable.

Technological Needs: Do not forget to pack your laptop, tablet, chargers, spare batteries, and universal plug adapters.

Basic Medications and Hygiene Products: Do not forget to pack essential medications and personal hygiene products you may need.
